XP Internet Security virus?
I have Spybot & Avira antivirus. Went to www.videostic.com to cat up on some tv and ended up getting a pain in the ass infection of "XP Internet Security". Disabled both spybot, explorer firefox getting to google. For example takes you to a nig link about your pc being full of problems. Also turned firewall off, and antivirus. First had a go at virus scan in safe mode. Then the fecker pops up. Did a system restore. Seems to be gone. Unless it has some place that it's hiding out. Grrrrrr

Ouch. The malware monkeys are getting more and more annoying these days.

If none of that works, take the drive out and virus scan it from another PC. stops anything firing up then.
