I do use Imdb for certain things, that's definitely NOT one of them.....Amongst the first 50 i would kill about half. Sin City is not even on...tsk tsk tsk

What makes the best movies Wraith?

- Good cinematography / animation
- Good script
- Well acted / voiced
- Makes you laugh?
- Makes you sad?
- Makes you think?
- Well directed
- Good plot

More or less all plus a couple more, but the problem is even though we set a standard for reviews we wouldn't agree on the definition. For instance i wouldn't consider an animation, no matter how fantastic, as even close to the stunning nature as in "Heaven and Earth".
I should consider acting as a whole against voice?? So an actor can be fantastic in all aspects, and then suddenly every bit as good just on voice alone?? Then we might include Shakespears written words as well.....

They are different categories al together in my world....I won't compare animations with movies, just like i won't compare stunning SFX with fantastic photography.
An animation can be best in it's category.

Goodfellas is a very good movie but I just don't see it as a great movie, it wouldn't make my top 20. Liotta lets the movie down a bit, I'd go as far as to say he was poorly cast.

I'd have to agree with Binny on that one, apart from the fact that i don't think that Liotta can be cast right
It's a good list for many things, but if it has to be a fair list, certain things should be upheld.... For instance:
All films should be graded on an equal number of reviews.....
And they shouldn't be allowed to make the list before at least 250,000 people had voted on'em.

Not that i think it would help a lot And Goodfellas is in at no. 17
But the fact that Dark Knight ever made the list....Well that says it all!!!!

watched four lions this morning great movie.
